Hello Brothers,
Well it’s that time. The BootCo. 2015 AGM is upon us and the committee is abuzz with who is nominating to be part of the group for the next 12 months. We have been impressed with the amount of interest shown in sitting on the committee, we take as a sign we are doing something right. Starting at 7pm there will be some light food and refreshments, and members who attend (and the AGM is strictly only open to current members) will get into Howl for free.With the AGM on May 2nd and Howl following on the same night – it’s going to be a great night all up.
I urge you to try your best to attend the AGM, not only to support your club with the numbers needed to make quorum but to also be a part of the process – especially if it comes down to who you want to see being on the committee for 2015 and into 2016.
The 2nd BootCo. Car Wash is on April 26 – so make sure you bring along your dirty car and hot cash. Dj Ensel has kindly donated his services to play some tunes while you get your (car) bits scrubbed by men, and there will be a sausage sizzle for those who are a little peck(er)ish.
Just announce is the Scrotal Saline workshop in late May, something very different that while not of interest to everyone, should tickle the fancy of a few of you out there. Run by dunalot (of the Fisting workshop fame) it should be a fun and educational experience.
It’s not long now till we see both 13 and Maximus jetting of to the US of A for International Mr Leather, which is incredibly exciting and has created a massive buzz within the Australian Leather community from within the gay scene and outside of it. I am very proud of both of our competitors and know they will do an awesome job representing our group.
Not long now and BootCo. will be celebrating it’s 25 years Leather Dinner which is happening in June. Tickets are more info will be available soon but please keep an eye out as it will be a huge event.
It looks like the second half of 2015 is going to be an exciting time for BootCo. and I look forward to seeing what the future holds.
