Hello Brothers,

I can’t help but feel 2015 is going to be a turbulent year. It’s not even a full month in and already I have seen long term friendships and relationships in a state of flux and change.

While change can be traumatic – it can also be a powerfully good thing too, even if that isn’t clear at the time. I’ve always said just keep breathing and one foot in front of the other. Also remember if you are not coping then ask for help!

BootCo. has hit the ground running with a slew of events and workshops lined up. January 31 is our IML fundraising car wash at Number 29 from 7am – 12 noon. It should be a fun day. February 7 is our pub night Balls, for all those sports gear lovers. Sadly I’m going to be unable to attend due to an operation, but It’s panning out to be a great event.

February 15 is the return of the BootCo. fisting workshop at QPP, while February 21 is the SafeTALK workshop aimed at mental health, which is another fundraiser for our IML competitors (Maximus – who is Mr Queensland Leather, and 13(aka Matt) who is our Queensland Leatherboy and is entering the BootBlacking comp at IML).

As always, information on all of these can be found in the BootCo. Members Magazine ‘Corium’ or in the newsletter.

We have been pawing over the results of the BootCo. survey and want you all to know we take the feedback very seriously. Please make sure you keep it coming, as we exist for our members.

Most of you should have received your membership cards in the mail now. If you have not received it in the last few weeks please let us know.

Be safe and well Brothers!

Anthony Smith

President of BootCo.
