Are you a Queer organisation, individual, initative or idea trying to serve the LGBTIQ+ community, but need a hand getting your idea off the ground?
The Boot Co. Grant Program was established in 2012 to help support the work of Queensland’s many LGBTIQ+ health services and community organizations.
The BootCo Brisbane Grant Program will provide funding of up to $1000 per applicant per round and is funded from the proceeds of The BootCo Brisbane events and fundraising throughout the year.
Boot Co. aims to support activities or opportunities which provide lasting community benefit in the areas of
- Health, safety and wellbeing
- Education and counseling
- Community engagement
Some examples of projects which would be eligible for funding are:
- Establishment of programs/ opportunities for community outreach;
- Purchase of equipment
- Funding for events
Applications are now open, from Feb 5th – 29th 2024. Once applications close, all submissions will be evaluated & applicants will be notified. It may take up to 8 weeks after applications close to receive funds.
